Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is one of the most common types of massage therapy. It’s often used to relax you, relieve stress and relieve pain. Swedish massage often involves rubbing, kneading, stroking and tapping your muscles. If you want to try Swedish massage, talk to your doctor first.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues.
Structural Integration/Rolfing
Structural integration is the application of a system of manual therapy, movement education and embodiment education that is intended to improve the functional relationship of the parts of the human body to each other within the influences of gravity.
Reflexology
Reflexology a system of massage used to relieve tension and treat illness, based on the theory that there are reflex points on the feet, hands, and head linked to every part of the body.
Cranial Sacral (head, neck, shoulders to fingertips)
Cranial Sacral therapy or cranial osteopathy is a form of alternative medicine that uses gentle touch to feel non-existent rhythmic movements of the skull’s bones and supposedly adjust the immovable joints of the skull to achieve a therapeutic result.
Reiki
Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
Tui-Na
Tui-Na is form of alternative medicine similar to shiatsu. As a branch of traditional Chinese medicine, it is often used in conjunction with acupuncture, moxibustion, fire cupping, Chinese herbalism, tai chi or other Chinese internal martial arts, and qigong.
